Project Description
The barriers which have traditionally prevented public housing residents from receiving primary health care have been reduced, due to the establishment of health centers on-site in public housing communities. Health centers have been opened in two of the three public housing developments and are fully staffed with family medicine providers. A full-time social worker coordinates the delivery of educational and health services.

Services
Pediatric, adult, and geriatric medicine, transportation, dental screenings, medical home visits for the elderly; educational seminars, games, and exercise classes, tutoring and reading classes for children, parenting classes, referral to medical specialists
