The National Center for Health Care for Public Housing Residents is supported by a Cooperative Agreement grant awarded by the Department of Health and Human Services' Health Resources and Services Administration to provide training and technical assistance and resources to Public Housing Primary Care health centers and other safety net providers throughout the United States.
The National Center for Health Care for Public Housing Residents is a project of North American Management, a client-focused firm providing innovative solutions for businesses, not-for-profit organizations, international concerns, and government agencies. North American Management is regarded in the industry as a results-oriented resource for assisting agencies to implement outcome-based management strategies.
1) Create communication tools, including a PHPC website, quarterly newsletter, listserv, and informational materials
2) Collaborate with national housing organizations
3) Provide distance learning opportunities
4) Convene an annual national PHPC conference to provide training and technical assistance to our grantees and partners, and help strengthen relationships between health centers and public housing authorities
5) Compile, review and report UDS data and analysis
6) Identify and disseminate replicable best practice clinical guidelines
7) Provide training and technical assistance at other national conferences
