Each agency's strategic goals and information
resources management goals are being adjusted to allign with
the Information
Technology Management Reform Act which defines the information
technology architecture (ITA). This requires each Agency Chief
Information Officer (CIO) to be "developing, maintaining,
and facilitating the implementation of a sound and integrated
information technology architecture".
